Santa Casilda farm and the almazara where “Olivar de la Luna” is produced can be found in the heart of the Sierra Morena, in an administrative area known as Los Pedroches to the North of Córdoba province, in Andalucía, Spain. Los Pedroches is an area of exceptional ecological importance, and was the first administrative area to be declared organic, given that it is home to the biggest crop of organically grown olive groves in Spain.
The area is home to a uniquely spectacular landscape, with a steeply sloping, rugged orography where olive trees coexist with patches of Meditarranean scrubland, contributing to the area’s great biodiversity.
